Belle Tire

I dropped my car off to get my tire repaired because it had a slow leak, they told me it would be two hours before it would be done. Went to pick my car up and they said it was not ready so I went back home. I did receive a call on the 2 1/2 hour mark saying that they performed an inspection and found everything was great, but I needed my air cleaner replaced. I said no, please just repair my tire. I received another call at the 3 hour mark Notifying me that my car was ready to be picked up. When I picked up my vehicle, I inquired why my vehicle had an inspection done and I just needed my tire repaired. They told me it was a safety inspection, I asked them how is my air cleaner is part of a safety inspection?…… The person at the counter said it would affect my fuel economy…! lol. I went out to my car, lifted my hood up, and seen that my air cleaner was not even installed back properly after they’ve rummage through my engine compartment. Went back in had someone from the front desk Install the air cleaner housing back on. You won’t find Quality or Honesty at this Portage Michigan location ..!

Bo, the assistant manager, and the two staff members that changed our tire today were friendly and great! We had a tire blowout on I-94 and after our tow truck brought us to Belle, they were able to quickly and courteously put a new tire on our car.

I had a wonderful experience at Belle Tire on Westnedge. Trent was my mechanic. He did a wonderful job with my shocks, having to find a specific dampener that does not come with the shock kit for my Honda Fit. Despite that extra step, still got me in and finished far faster than anyone else I contacted and that was at least 8 other shops in the area. On top of the quality work, professional while friendly attitude, it was also the best price with one exception that was ever so slightly cheaper (maybe 50 dollars if I remember correctly) but would've been a 3 week wait and the person that answered was terribly unimpressive. I highly recommend this Belle Tire, especially Trent! Also, I really like your flag, super patriotic!

I went here in February to get new tires. They gave me a list of things to be fixed. They did a safety inspection before returning it. I went back just a few weeks ago to get a tire repaired they also did another safety inspection which listed more things to fix. The fact that my sub frame was rotted out badly was not on either of those. I took it to a family mechanic to get the issues the addresses fixed and this is what he found. He told me my car was very unsafe to drive on and the back end was about to fall out beneath me any day now. The fact that they definitely had to of seen this issue with my car and still wanted to have my fix things on it without telling me is disgusting. They are nothing but money hungry who doesn’t care if they were putting mine and my family’s life in danger. Thank god I had it in me to go and take it in to be fixed by someone honest and trusted. This company is sickening. I am very upset and I will make sure they never get mine or any of my families business ever. Money over someone and their kids safety is bullshit. You are disgraceful and disgusting individuals.

That big old flag was ostentatiously not lowered to half staff today, ignoring the Governor's call to honor the late Rev Jesse Jackson Thursday Feb 26. Maybe Belle Tire never lowers its flags for any occasion, and it is certainly not legally obligated to do so, but in this climate, it felt especially noticeable today. I won't be bringing my tire business here.
